If somebody wants a blu ray player they can get one
It has movies u can rent on it
Free internet/online gameplay
Face it if price decreases it will blow out anything ever made

Even as the PS3 price drops, so too are standalone players.  For those with PC's, you can already buy a BD drive for just $80.

Movie rental via online services are not limited to just the PS3.  If it were an exclusive feature, you'd have a point.

For the PS3 to outsell the PS, the sales rate will need to increase from a current sales rate of ~10 million per year to ~15 million per for the next 6 years.  The PS2 itself was barely doing that for the first 6 years and it certainly hasn't since all the new consoles launched.  I don't see the PS3 beating that in the face of much stronger competition and global recession.
