Forums - Nintendo - Fellow NINTENDIANS! Do you expect to see a Star Fox or F-Zero this year?

If Zelda Wii isnt announced this year then I say either one of those (or maybe Kid Icarus?) WILL be announced this year.

Damn Spirit Tracks. I mean I love it but now my hope for Zelda Wii 09 isnt as high

why do people worry about if and when they will release f-zero, pilotwings, zelda, mario, donkey kong, kirby, smashbros, and what have you. it seems every month people pull their hair out over when they will release these particular franchise games. dude don't worry about it. just have fun with the wii and nintendo will bring them out in the right time. i know it is hella hard to wait but just be patient. shiggy is working on multiple projects remember from gdc that should give u a hint that they are working on these core franchises.

Worry and anticipation are two different things.

I'd die for a new Star Fox.

Internally developed at Nintendo, of course.

I don't expect a F zero this gen at all sadly and the gamecube one was actually made at Sega by the Daytona series team.

I dunno if I want Nintendo to make one this gen, they would probably fill it with Mii's everywhere...ugh
Unless Retro made it as i would love to see them try.
Star Fox I only want a return if they get back to it's roots none of the gamecube or DS junk.
Bring it back to it's SNES/N64 style.

And I am still waiting since over 10 years for my Pilotwings.

Hey, F-Zero with a Mii driver option would be three kinds of awesome.

I can take mii's in mario kart I can tolerate nipples on Captain falcon but I will be damned if I am driving mii's with nipples.

Don't ever call me that again.

I reckon that nothing will be heard of them. I reckon 2010 at the earliest. F-Zero, Starfox, Donkey Kong (a proper DK game), Kirby & Pikmin are the only franchises left for the Wii. Unless Kid Icarus/Ice Climbers/PilotWings were to come back from the grave, but I doubt that. Nintendo would want to pace themselves. Wii us unlikely to see successor till 2012 (if not later) so they would sensibly pace them between 2010-12.

Doubt is not a pleasant condition, but certainty is absurd.
