On topic: I dont care. well I actually do, I would prefer it to go multi, as it wont reach its sales potential being an exclusive. But as a gamer I dont care since I'll play it anyway.

Of course, you are wrong. Don´t forget, nobody plays multi-platform games. And there´s good reason for it. If you get such game in you console, it will self-destruct in five minutes. And nobody wants that, right?

VsXIII will come be announced for 360 the moment MS dishes out another $60M on the table...

If they don't care for the spin-off though... it will stay exclusive.

As for why they "lied" about it, well thats a matter of perspective. It wasn't a lie when viewed in the proper conetext. When they said the game was going to be exclusive those were the actual plans. The truth was that FFXIII was going to be released exclusively for the PS3. Eventuaslly the plans changed, and the thus the truth of the situation changed. There was never a lie since there was never any deception. it was a simple matter of a decision being changed for business reasons.

All games multiplatform = no console competition = lack of innovation

im a little skeptical if square will even release 13 for xbox, so versus is out of the question.

you see, the type of game versus is- all emo and dark, etc. only suits ps3 for some reason, idk why. does anyone agree?

Incorrect. One platform means you have to compete against the entire market. With more direct competition between games you would see more innovation to differentiate from the pack. More competition means more innovation. It just changes innovation away from consoles, and puts it on the games where it should be.

Nomura works for S-E he does what S-E tells him and has as much freedom as S-E gives and S-E is a money fan not a console fan.

Plus Nomura has worked on so many different consoles how is he a fan of one company? Do you know him in real life and told you what company he likes?

Just like Kojima has no say in where his game goes? If Im not mistaken, he was at no higher a level then Nomura before his promotion. What about Itagaki? He at least had SOME say. When you have a valuable asset(game designer) who brings you cash cows for every game release, you tend to spoil them. Don't forget. Nomura is in charge of SE's second/third best title, Kingdom Hearts. Every game that he has helmed has sold alot(KH,KH2,TWEWY,FFVII:Crisis Core, Advent Children, Dissidia,etc).
