Nothing at all bad would happen from the consumer stand point quite honestly. There is no logical downside to all games being multi-platform. I am just one of those weird guys who thinks the majority of games should go to as many consoles as is feesible. As for why they "lied" about it, well thats a matter of perspective. It wasn't a lie when viewed in the proper conetext. When they said the game was going to be exclusive those were the actual plans. The truth was that FFXIII was going to be released exclusively for the PS3. Eventuaslly the plans changed, and the thus the truth of the situation changed. There was never a lie since there was never any deception. it was a simple matter of a decision being changed for business reasons. |
