Well congrats on the purchase good sir, I hope you enjoy the game as much as I did (In fact, I was just listening to the soundtrack as I was walking home.).

Actually, my views of the two games are pretty much in line with VGChartz's reviews (well, I would have added 0.2 to each of their scores if I had to assign a numerical score to each of them...). All in all, sit back, turn on the Wii, and have some fun. That's what it's all about.

Galaxy, easily.

Twilight Princess is a good game, I enjoyed it from one end to the other. But Galaxy is a GREAT game, maybe just a tiny half step below Super Mario 64 and Ocarina. I could see myself returning to rebeat it every few years just like I have with SM64 and Ocarina, while I'll probably never rebeat all of TP.

Well im a Zelda fan, so my heart tells me that you should get Twilight Princesss, which is an incredible game. Yet Super Mario Galaxy is possibly one of the greatest games ever so get it first.

For me Zelda Twilight Princess is the better game, but both are brilliant. Super Mario Galaxy is the only Mario that I've got back to replay several times. You really need both.

It's only my opinion. If you're going by what I say, Super Mario Galaxy. If you're going by reviews, Super Mario Galaxy. If you're going by consumers (and I mean sales), Super Mario Galaxy. And if you're looking for a great game that's fun from beginning to end, Super Mario Galaxy.
