^ I don't think the graphical capabilities of the Wii will be the catalyst by which Nintendo will be motivated to release newer hardware or even see Wii sales slow down. Clearly, graphics don't matter. If they did, we wouldn't see the HD consoles struggling to keep Wii from 50% marketshare - something no one predicted back in 2006.

Besides, the "outdated/fugly" graphics capabilities of the Wii was supposed to see 'the Wii bubble burst' a year ago. The fact that it hasn't happened suggests that it won't.

PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !

Good thing the Wii didn't have the luxury of being first to market like the PS2...  Imagine how skewed the market share percentage would've been then.

Lets keep comparing the Wii ( 8 games with metacritic over 90, 47 million sellers) with the ps2 ( 63 games with metacritic over 90, 206 million sellers) because clearly they are comparable....

If the title of this thread was "PS2 vs. Wii: Which console has more games with a metacritic rating of 90 or above?", you'd have a point.  But this thread is about sales, so you don't.
