Forums - PC - Help, my PC can't run any decent game

Tell us the specs of the PC. If it's an off-the-shelf thing from (for example) Dell you're probably being ripped off and still end up with a bad PC.

A setup that will be good for midrange gaming is:

CPU - Any Pentium E5xxx >2.0GHz, Core 2 Duo >2.0GHz, Core i7, Phenom >2.3GHz, Phenom II, or Athlon X2 >2.6GHz.
Graphics - Any Radeon HD38xx, Radeon HD46xx, Radeon HD48xx, Geforce 96xx, Geforce 98xx or Geforce GTX2xx.

Anything else and it's not worth buying. A system with the cheapest of those components in can be had for under $450 right now, so there's no excuse not to get that.

Get Onlive it works

if you have a fast internet connexion then you should wait till Onlive is released

If he get new comp now, at the time, when will be OnLive functional a actually playable, his comp will be again piece of crap.

Well guys, i've took some today to go into a store and look for a nice computer, here is the one i liked, what do you think?

Pcware WG31M-L Motherboard (Intel chipset)

Intel Core II Duo E7400 2.8 Processor

4 Gb RAM DDR II 667MHZ

320Gb HD (woot!)

8500 GT is not great for gaming really, 8800 and up are good. 8600 and 8500, people use them for watching blu-ray. Do you have lastest graphic card driver on your current one? You might need to run antispyware program like Malwarebytes` Anti-malware, try StartUpLite while you're at it.

An 8500 doesn't seem too future proof to me, but I'm not sure. I'd get a 8800 if I could
