Wow, giving No More Heroes as an example, well done. Another cell shaded violent game. *claps* 1) The game is still selling well, see UK all prices chart Please troll a little bit more intelligent next time. I know you can do it. Or better: stop trolling at all. MadWorld might bomb it might not (imo it will reach 500k, which will be a success, again nothing enormous, but still a success). |
Wow. Called a troll by the admin. Classy. When I'm not even trolling. All I simply stated was that the game isn't doing good, and this could be a case where the game may have sold better on the PS360. But I guess Wii fanboys didn't want to hear that, so now I'm a troll.
I guess when people don't want to hear the truth...

So, I'm asking you to show me the games that point towards your "fact" that this game would have sold so much better on PS360. I think Afro Samurai is not a good start.
Damn DMJ, what happened to you? O.o ur trolling is not even funny.
You are trying to talk s**t about a game, that is the best seller for Suda, eventhough he had similar games in the ps2??? just b/c is on the wii????
So... games like this don't sell on ps2???? O.o
or is just that these type of games are hard to sell, no matter the platform and u r just looking for a way to talk down on the wii???
03/10/09 HUGE day in my life:
why is it when you disagree with you guys and say something you don't want to hear, the word " troll" gets thrown around so easily?
Yes, you may not believe Madworld bombed which it did, but so far it's not looking good and the excuse that NMH was not marketed cannot be used with this one, as I have seen more commercials for Madworld than Killzone2.
It's ok to say Lair, HAZE and even LBP bombed all day with tons of treads, but when the ball is on your corner, it's suddenly TROLLING.

Thanks for doing the research. I will edit my post, and add this information. I'm pleased that BKK2 isn't the only one who read my comments. :)
Guys there is no need to try to "defend" MadWorld in any case it's a great game and it deserves any copy it sells.
This fanboys that bashes it are missing a great upportinuty to have a great time with this game because it is on the Wii. Pityfull action for sad people who cannot by anychance enjoy gaming on a different platform than theirs.
Keep on bashing the sales of this game sad people with bitter tears at least i will enjoy playing it on my Wii.
Here have a small taste of what are you missing.

People are saying it's too early to know if MadWorld truly bombed or not. I don't think it was reasonable to expect Lair or Haze to have legs. It didn't help that both games were crap either. The difference here is that months down the line, MadWorld could see some nice numbers. And also, MadWorld does NOT suck, unlike Lair and Haze.
As for LBP, it most certainly wasn't a bomb. It's just that PS3 fans hyped it up so much and said it would be the next Mario and sell millions upon millions and be a system seller, thus the bomba threads.

So what is the thing with all playstation fanboys unleashed a fulll scale attack on first week sales on MadWorld??? I what valid evidence are you all keep refering that MadWorld bombed??? At least the games you refered about ps3 line up bombed after at least a 2 month sales data not in their first week of sales.
That is our major difference between judging a real bomb from a wana be bomb from angry fanboys that everymajor savior game on playstation 3 failed to rise the console from obscurity and their only joy is to bash MadWorld mediocre fisrt week opening......
Sad state of mentality for playstation fans.
Yeee-ikes, DMJ, you're pushing people's buttons fast and hard.
I'm not interested in the larger discussion because it's all been done before and is so flammable. Therefore, I will just make these more specific and directed observations:
1) Madworld has sold poorly. The likelihood of a recovery after this type of second week is very small, but stranger things have happened.
2) This bodes very poorly for other similar games on the Wii, as it was one of only a select few that fit this description. Sega said that other publishers were watching Madworld/HotD "closely," and thus Madworld performing poorly is a bad sign for similar games down the road.
You can argue it's a niche title obviously and omg why can't everyone see this, but that argument is moot: what publishers care about is the bottom line. The bottom line is that Madworld has sold poorly. Sorry folks.
