Nintendo I totally agree. I was bored and repulsed out of my mind when watching the Nin Conference last year. Wii Music? Really?

But I seriously cannot see how MS "Won" by any standard. The highlight of their entire conference was they got a very well know Exclusive of the PS3's to go MP. On the other side Sony revealed quite a few exclusives with (Mag,GOWIII, etc) that we did not previously know about. Even their Keynote which is usually this long boring speach was more interesting(and understandable) seeing as they used LBP as a Display medium.

This Year Sony all but has it in the bag.


also it looks like this title wont make it out till 2010. great announcement if you ask me

it gives microsoft a chance to show multiplats 1st, i think there will be a few game announcments though but i want gt5 and heavy rain announcments

Yes it was the order last year, and yes M$ did the same thing last year with a press conference before it actually starts

@ twroo, yes, but they would probably need more time to completely change it, but I suppose they can fiddle around with it a bit, maybe they might have an announcement in reserve in case of an M$ price cut (maybe Jak 4 held in reserve, or something like that)

The thing that I am wondering about it is how much knowledge they have of each other's conferences. There were rumours last year that Jack Tretton had to do the whole conference as Kaz was working out what the hell was going on with FF XIII non-exclusivity

FF Versus going multi-plat is the obvious announcement, the MEGATON will be Sony fanboys throwing themselves off buildings due to Kojima's next game being multi-plat. Assumptions are a terrible thing, same thing happened with FFXIII and we all know how that turned out.

GT5 announced, gameplay shown + release date would top anything MS could do. That one announcement which is long overdue would simply take care of anything MS have to offer, simple as that. All Sony need to do at E3 is show gameplay and actually give release dates for already announced games, end of that.

MS have the most work to do, Forza 3 should be announced but as I said GT5 would topple that with ease. Oh yes Halo ODST, cannot wait to see that one in action. :O Nintendo can have a pie eating contest during their conference and it will not matter at all, Nintendo is a monster.
