The Cell is a CPU/GPU.  4 SPEs used for rendering effectively DOUBLES the graphics capability.  I'm sure you've seen that here, at least, a few times.  That would still leave 3 processors (2 SPEs and the PPE) for physics, AI, game logic, etc.  Of course, Cryengine 3 isn't using the SPEs in such a manner.  And, no, the X360 version of this demo does NOT have better graphics.

Since im the only 360 owner here i suppose your talking to me,The 360 camera is closer therefore textures appear to be worse,how ever i will say the 360 version looks SUB hd.

Even I feel Lightning will look hotter in PS3's FF13 than in 360's one!

slightly doesnt mean shit, basicly the pictures to me are too close too call. either way it seems that this engine will make very good looking games on both systems :)

I see a difference.
And the PS3 one is brighter with more lighting.
But I don't I don't really see how one can be "better"

i agree.this is and excellent news for us gamers.it's only a bad news for epic games(for their outdated unreal3 engine )

Yeah, but they're so overpowered that even if they're not optimally efficient at it, shit flies.

And, now, some are saying the SPEs are better at AI than when run on other processors (when proper branch hints or branch elimination is implemented).

As far as textures in Gears go, they focused most of those textures budget on the characters and not everywhere.  To date, Uncharted has the most high rez textures throughout a game.
