Forums - Nintendo - Question regarding the DSi and GBA games.

I've heard many people relate the DSL to DSi move to the GB to GBC move. My only gripe with it is that the GBC only added features and didn't take any out as far as I remember.

Assuming that those people's analogies are supposed to hold true, does that mean that there will be a way for me to still play my GBA games on the DSi? I've heard something about being able to download GBA games through DSware, but I'm not going to rebuy those games I already own.

Around the Network

GBA on DSi through DSWare is only a rumor.

No GBA on DSi is the one big reason I won't buy one.

Wasn't it already confirmed that there would be downloadable GB/GBA games?

DSi having GBA games downloadable would be like Wii having Gamecube games Downloadable.

I don't see it happening.

Pixel Art can be fun.

Where GCN-games are 1.5 GB GBA-games are only 8-16 MB and completley possible for download

GBC and GBA games were conformed to be downloadable.

If it's confirmed, why wasn't it mentioned along with VC Arcade's at GDC?
It's a rumour until confirmed by Nintendo.

Downloadable GB games for DSi have been confirmed? When did that happen? :s The other day there was an article on IGN about it, they said it would be a cool feature, and although they expected Nintendo to do it eventually, it was pure speculation on their part. So... link, anyone?
