Wierd is ps3 still getting third party support? Everytime I think that ps3 is going to die story like this pop up. If this story is true Soriku will not be happy he is convinced that all SE games will go over till Wii/DS. I still find it wierd that it is coming till ps3.

And why shouldn't the PS3 getting any third party support anymore? Because sales don't reach to expectations? The support of developers, creating more, different and interesting games make people want to buy a console. I agree with Square Enix that Sony has mainly focussed on the Blu Ray aspect from the beginning and not on gaming, that is also the reason why I didn't like the PS3 at that time. Now we finally get to see some more interesting announcements for on the PS3 and therefore will the PS3 become more interesting for gamers. SOIV sure made sure that I "will" be buying a PS3. Also Star Ocean has mainly been on Playstation consoles, only Star Ocean 1 has released on the Super Famicom, Star Ocean 2 on the PS and Star Ocean 3 on the PS2, plus the remakes will hit the PSP so it's nothing but common sense that Star Ocean IV will reach the PS3.

I think it being on the PS3 is very likely. They are already porting SO1 and SO2 to the PSP. Also, Tri-Ace already is making a 360 exclusive, Infinite Undiscovery. Why shouldn't the PS3 get that kind of love, too? Everyone needs some love.

Microsoft is funding Infinite Undiscovery though. It was mostly their idea.

SO4's platform is still unconfirmed, and I just read on RPGfan that it's still undecided, which makes me wonder even more if those screens in the scan aren't FMV. Too many conflicting reports.

Im worried. If this goes PS3 exclusive it could well turn out like HS, Lair, Warhawk. Sony show no support. They scoop the game and thats it. They look at the graphics and say wow look what PS3 does. Oh bad reviews we 4got about the gameplay. lol

S-E has been backing the PS3 from the get-go and is doing everything in their power to make sure its their bread and butter again this generation.

I don't think Konami and S-E should even be considered third party support anymore considering how devoted they are to Sony.

Honestly thats just dumb.

Just casue you jealous it does nt change the fact they are 3rd party.

well either way, if it goes to ps3 another reason ill most likely own one in times to come

With regard to Call of Duty 4 having an ultra short single player campaign, I guess it may well have been due to the size limitations of DVD on the XBox 360, one of various limitations multi-platform game designers will have to take into consideration-Mike B

So Microsoft can moneyhat, but Sony can't?

I agree, it's unconfirmed, but many signs point to it sticking to the playstation name.

That is great :).
For JRPG's it is the best (for me) that I buy a PS3 then.

Yeah but more people will click on it this way becuase 90% of us don't know what the hell the acronym SO4 stands for off the top of our heads.

You're an ass for making people click on threads that they have absolutely no interest in just to see what game you're talking about.

You should follow the rule like everyone else.

I would personally rather have SO4 on the PS3 than KH3, but I think KH3 would be better for the system's sales.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S.
