@ izaaz - I didn't like the WS version. I just don't think that putting Mario in as the trainer worked
I thought pokemon was owned by nintendo.... I must look into this.

I don't know, I found it rather interesting. The struggle between Mario and my Blastoise was an interesting psychological experiment.....he kept trying to jump on him, and Blastoise didn't like that very much. However, they did come to an understanding after I got Surf.

Ahh, you see I took Fire mario, so there was no way I could've taken Blastoise. So I was essentially limited to Charizard and Red Pikmin for the entire game
