A-1 Studios is handling this... I hope it's great....

Yeah, that'd be awesome, i've been looking for an anime close to CG's awesomeness, but found nothing. one of a kind ha!
And dont worry soriku, once Versus XIII comes out you'll own a ps3. :P

I'll be putting all my games/anime on hold to watch this one.
The visuals looks pretty close to what's in the game. I commend the developers for that. I hope the story doesn't veer off too far. I'm expecting this to be great though. Anticipation can't get any higher! :)
Person 1: Does Valkyria Chronicles have trophies?
Person 2: No.
Person 1: Forget it. I'm not buying it.
Person 2: Wait! It's amazing! Unique, charming, drop dead gorgeous... Hello?

Anime has its highs and lows, in slack periods you mearly get two or three very good series in an excess of rehashed no-names but about once every two years or so you get an increase of high production value and this winter marked the comeback of good anime. As far as I'm concerned 2009 will be great, just for this comming season I've already spotted five high-quality anime which have the potential to be serious hits.

Kinda hard to make your drawings have the canvas effect.
At least it's staying true the game's story from what I can see.

Ha! Seriously, the art style HAVE lost a bit of soul thanks to missing canvas effect but I'm not sure how effective the rough water colour look will translate when it comes to full time animation.
I will be looking for this relegiously when its release;has any group promise to fansub the series yet?

@ Seraphic )
Code Geass ,hum? Really an enjoyable show with many good moments. Would have been better in my opinion if they hadn't let it end very similar to Gundam Wing, especially because I'm really not font of GW.
If you like psychological games like in CG I'd recommend Death Note, Akagi or One Outs.

Agree with the ending, this tend to be the downfall of 100% of all anime. I love conclusive ending and hate series that ends abruptly. Some older series to try if missed them the first time around: Cowboy Bebop; Last Exile; Twelve Kingdom; Witch Hunter Robin; Crest of the Star (Get the fansub version if possible as the english release butchered the translation and has voice acting worse than FFX).
Anime come dime a dozen in Japan and I use to gobble them up like candies; but lately my taste have kinda mature and I've become extremely picky; the last worthwhile series I watched was Haruhi
