Forums - Nintendo - Will the new Zelda work on all DS's?

Or is it the DSi's first killer ap?

Heavens to Murgatoids.

I don't think they're making games that only work on DSi, are they? That would be a stupid move if they did, because the DSi owners only account for a small fraction of the total DS sales.

nintendo wasn't specific on the matter but i'm guessing it is compatible with DS and not just DSi.

They may give it DSi-exclusive features, just as they gave Ocarina of Time Rumble-Pak-exclusive features, but it'll definitely be playable on a Lite or Phat. The only DSi-specific games are going to be DSiWare games.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

"Ok, girl's trapped in the elevator, and the power's off.  I swear, if a zombie comes around the next corner..."

I suspect it's the first DSi killer-app...

MY ZELDA COLLECTION

If it was DSi exclusive they would have said it right off the bat. And then I would have to hurt them.

I hope it's not a DSi exclusive though, I didn't plan to buy DSi...

Don't think they want to limit the consumers for the title by making it exclusive to DSi. But I can see DS games having extra features on the DSi. Not stopping the game running on the old DS's, but give incentives to get the new handheld.

"¡Viva la Ñ!"

They would be idiots to make it DSi exclusive.
