This is almost as bad as when people wished that Andross wasn't the final boss in Star Fox Adventures (and for the rest of the series actually).
Haha! Blasphemy I told 'em! D:

Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...
PH didn't have Ganondorf as the final boss. And neither did a lot of other Zelda games. It's not that bad, really. :p Though they could do with a new character. Maybe a female final boss, that'd be something new. :)

This doesn't sound too good for me actually... First of all, it's fine that there is a new Zelda on the DS, but there are so many Nintendo franchises that haven't hit the DS yet that I'd actually prefer one of those first... F-Zero comes to mind first, but there are other too.
Secondly, and more important, it sounds like "easy-access" Zelda to me. I was already slightly disappointed with Phantom Hourglass, and this seems to go into the same direction. Taking away some "epicness" and making the game more pick up and play. Of course there's little to no info yet, but it seems that they are reducing the overworld which was already tiny in PH compared to the predecessors even more with this train feature. I guess the dungeons will still be a lot of fun, but the franchise seems to be turning into a mission-based dungeon crawler instead of an epic adventure.
I am not really happy with Nintendo currently.

I can't tell if you're being facetious or not. I'm going to operate as if you aren't. Or are?
I think there's a difference, here. It's one thing to not want Ganondorf in every game - new villains allow for the exploration of new themes and new play mechanics and whatnot, leading us to thinks like Majora's Mask. That's awesome. Some new villains need to be played again.
But in the first place, the Zelda series is as much about Ganondorf as it is Zelda herself. He is a player in that struggle, and Hyrule's fate is tied to his, forever. Whenever the power of the gods comes into the equation, so does he. It's inevitable.
In the second place, Ganondorf is awesome every time he shows up. It's true! He's never had a bad appearance, not once.
In the third place, Soriku hasn't played enough Zelda to actually pretend that he's tired of the character.
OMG a DS F-Zero would be epically epic. :o

Looking at yourr collection, you've played enough Zelda to know that it's always essentially been a dungeon crawler in the first place, with most of our gameplay time being devoted to said dungeons. Phantom Hourglass' balanc of dungeon vs. nondungeon activity was no worse than any of the 3-D games, and it really wasn't as bad as the first or second games.

Veran kind of was a final boss.
What about Ganondorf's sinister twin brother, Ganondwarf? Or that Gannon guy? He hasn't been in a game since... ever!
I'm betting they will pull a PH and have you fight the villain from your locomotive during one stage of the final battle - I wonder how that will work out.
