Forums - Nintendo Discussion - The Conduit....Rated T?

http://gonintendo.com/?p=76705

Go Nintendo released a trasncript of IGN's recent Voice Chat which supposedly stated that The Conduit will be rated T and not M.

I wonder how Sega got the ESRB to grant a T rating instead of M?  Probably good news sor sales though.

I expected that.

My Games of 2011:

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword

Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Super Mario 3D Land

Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception

good news for sales, yea. dont really care too much about cursing after madworld :)

Didn't see any reason Conduit would get an M so that's not surprising.
Also it should help sales.

Not too much else of interest there. Another great hardcore title to be announced next month. Shame no one is using Wii Speak. Makes the $30 purchase kinda pointless but I'll likely get it for Conduit.

I listened to the podcast. It sounded like he was just guessing.

It is largely a technical exercise but feedback is appreciated.

@Rol, nice. lol.

@Topic, meh, could care less about the rating system. I will buy the game and Wii Speak asap.

In fact I may get Wii Speak early just to have it.

Cool, this will save us from the usual "M rated games don't sell on the Wii" threads.

And a few more future topics have been saved from existence.

Yeah, they were just guessing what the most probable thing would be. Not confirmed yet.

Bets with Conegamer:

Pandora's Tower will have an opening week of less than 37k in Japan. (Won!)
Pandora's Tower will sell less than 100k lifetime in Japan.
Stakes: 1 week of avatar control for each one.

Fullfilled Prophecies

Saves me from the dirty looks my parents give me, at least (yeah, i'm 19, but they don't like me buying M titles), though we've seen that it really has no impact on sales. T is just the "middle child" as it were. Nobody looks at a T-rated game and sees "the forbidden fruit," but it might scare off some parents/relatives buying it for a little kid, so it doesn't really get the boosts of either E or M, and E10 might as well be E, doubt anyone gives a damn about that, since all "family movies" of today are generally PG rated anyway

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

well you kill insect looking aliens, i don't see anything to graphic about that, so i think it deserves the T
