Wii MotionPlus to be bundled with Grand Slam Tennis in Europe

March 23rd, 2009 Posted in News, Wii, Written by Valay

Some news regarding the release of Wii MotionPlus has finally surfaced after months of speculation. Apparently, the peripheral will be bundled with Grand Slam Tennis - in Europe at least. Consumers looking to purchase only the game can do so, but the Grand Slam Tennis with MotionPlus bundle will cost just ten more Euros (59,99). Both options are set to become available on July 2nd.

Interesting -- we know the cost (kind of) and we see a third-party bundling.

I wonder if Wii Sports Resort is having development issues.

I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble.

Good, looks like it's going to be relatively cheap.

Hmm... I sure hope Wii Sports Resort's development is still going fine.

Wow, the first third party bundle is a FACT.

I'm going to buy that bundle no doubt about it.

Only 10 bucks ...
I was expecting 15-20 euro for the device. Good.
BTW EA Tennis looks really really promising.

Oh my. This is very interesting, but also rather scary. It practically confirms the delay of resort, but i'm not losing hope until i hear from GDC.

Excellent news on the price, though.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

So that means the accessory on its own will be no more than about $15.

Also, to me this basically confirms that Red Steel 2 will have the accessory bundled. I mean, why wouldn't they?

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

It opens up the possibility much wider, but Red Steel 2 is going to be much later. They bundle it to help front-promote it at launch.

Hmmm...Is the problem that I read rumored that the wm+ has to calibration issues with Wii Sports Resort cause of the different games involved?

sidenote: I was wondering if Nintendo would be will to release wm+ WITHOUT Wii Sports Resort being available. Definitely how this type of bundle comes to the US.

The Interweb is about overreaction, this is what makes it great!

...Imagine how boring the interweb would be if everyone thought logically?
