SNES Vs PS2

 

 Im 18... and my first gaming experiences were with the Commodore 64... so i kinda think im able to have my opinion on this one

 

Also... the PS2 would kick even the PS1s ass... SNES wouldnt stand a chance.

ps1 for me it has the best rpgs in my opinion ff7 8 9 vagrant story and bof 3 and 4 and many other good rpgs tomb raiders and crash games

LoL. Everyones entitled to their opinion, my reason for asking age was, those who are older have seen and experienced more, and witnessed both systems in their prime. So their opinions hold a little more weight (imo) because they can reference both systems.

I also feel those that grew up with the NES/SNES can attest to that being a golden age of gaming. So for example, when Viper says he's over 30 he's seen it all lol, once he said his age I knew which system he was going to choose. TheRepublic's answer didn't surprise me at all either.

If you all think SF4 is the pinnacle of that series, think again. Nothing compares to Super Street fighter 2 in the summer of 96 with a 1 liter strawberry nehi soda playing tournament matches in the living room, with 6 friends.

Also tehsage is correct that MK2 on SNES was not censored only the first one was. And to whoever believes chrono cross was better than trigger...are u mad???

i'm 25 and i have to go with SNES. PS1 was great too but i have much better memories of the SNES.

I go Snes. I had a PS1 and it was amazing but because of my age, i never had a Snes, though i recently started playing tales of phantasia and that is epicly good.

SNES for me and about Crono Trigger comparing it to Crono Cross is like comparing pitch black to the chronicles of riddick yes chronicles was flashier and had way more and better special effects but witch is the better movie?



PS I own both and I just beat Crono Trigger for the billionth time and haven't played Crono Cross in 5 years same with the chronicles of Riddick.
