Forums - Sales - :( Valkyria Chronicles not even 100k on US

According to NPD the game is at 74k on Life to date numbers from January's NPD

Quite sad.

Very sad.

Not that sad. It's at 360k world wide which means 500k lifetime seems pretty assured. That will almost certainly make Valk Chronicles a net profitable game. I wouldn't be surprised if it was profitable even at 300k.

I did my part and bought it (as any RPG fan should). It's selling well for a first run JRPG in the US really. I mean Eternal Sonata only sold around 120k across 2 consoles.

PSN ID: ChosenOne feel free to add me

Its DONE VERY WELL for an SRPG

Its outsold TOV worlwide

Doesn't that mean that at the end of January it was at 74k in the US?

The game's selling at a 1.5k to 2k rate each week. Being optimistic the game must be at 84k or 86k

That list proves that VGChartz overtracks many games.

This game had a very small budget, and the sales actually is far better than what SEGA hoped for (Sequels hopefully)
