Hey don't knock it until you try it. I don't have kinect, but I played my Aunt's this weekend. I see myself getting it because the games are pretty fun. The crazy thing is I played the games with achievements on my mind.

To anyone interested the 'he ain't even married achievement' in comic jumper is now definately working, just got it myself. Now back to the bizarreness that is deadly premonition.

96 hours for 400 points on Vegas.  I won't be setting any gs records.  Don't do a chem. quest for Melissa of the Khans or she disappears before you can recruit the clan.  Wasted four hours collecting Speech books for the second last quest in that set.  Bloody annoying.  Grinding to hit the lvl cap was a mistake as from that point the books are your only option.  Party Mentats, Absinthe etc. don't stack.  Bring lots of Radaway and maybe a suit for vault 34.  I apparently wandered into the dreaded Black Mountain area at about level 5 which explains my early frustration.  I could barely manage it at 29.  Maybe it's just expectations vs. reality but I'm a bit disappointed overall.  I appreciate a sprawling open world but bigger was not better for me.  Now for a nasty, energy blastin brawler.

you playing hardcore mode ?

I only need to finish one side quest and yeah the rest is hardcore mode (which I will probably skip) and lots of grinding for the several damage, health points and casino achievements.

The league is up-to-date for this week.

I had about 45 hours with 515 gamerscore and the pro-NCR ending.  But  I kept a game save from before I triggered the end game so I'm going to go back and do some achievements I didn't get and trigger the Wild Card ending today.  Then it will be time to make another character and go for the House/Ceasar ending and hopefully hardcore mode.  Anyway, I'm glad we have one more week in the race.

Although it is important to note regardless of what your time said, if you reloaded or died any that time is higher.  For instance I got trapped in Vault 22, it let me leave once and I sold the dynamite then came back and got stuck there with no means of fullfilling the quest and being able to leave again.  So that was 2 extra hours I played that doesn't reflect in my 45 hour time stamp.  Also I spent a lot of money doing upgrades I didn't need and reloaded that to get my money back after the achievement popped.

Just reporting the facts and certainly not recommending it.  That showed on the last save before the last part of the last fight.  Playing on normal.  I had hit about 150 locations and spent dozens of hours just tracking down empty triangles and slaughtering every red blip on the hud.  If there wasn't a lvl cap I'm sure I would have hit 36-38.   I rarely look at ach. sites first time through in case I spoil something.   I'm not saying it can't be done faster just that it's possible to spend that much time in there, finish the game and still only have 400 gs.  That's a serious rpg with achs geared towards choosing different styles and factions over several playthroughs.  I'm unsuited to a gs league really but I appreciate the board and having someone to yak at.  I'll take it easy on you guys from here on.  Enjoy!

I'd suggest you to just play it through with your faction of choice and never try to finish it in any other way, but since you're all achievement whores just like me I'm almost feeling stupid for mentioning that in this thread.

And yeah I forgot to add some hours for the other endings which all took around 1:30 - 2:00 hours. So I guess my "final" time would be 55 hours.

Only quest based achievement left is The Legend of the Star and I'm currently not in the mood to search the wasteland for another ~30 star bottle caps, til I got 50.
