I will give you Brain Training and WarioWare(esscentially a bunch of minigames but how you complete them is innovative).

Little Big Planet doesn't seem to bring anything new to the industry. The Wii controls are innovative, but the games aren't, since they haven't introduced anything new. At least to my knowledge.

EDIT: Took out the part about me saying Little Big Planet brings new things into the industry, when it doesn't Sorta made a contradiction or whatever.

End marketshare (prediction):

Wii - 55%

PS3 - 27%

X360 - 18%

 

Most AAA games don't move many systems unless they're a well established IP. I don't see many popular franchises being released for the PS3 other than MGS4, FFXIII, and GTAIV, and only two of those significantly boost hardware sales. MGS is good, but based on the charts and user base for the PS3, I highly doubt it will sell any hardware.

The only popular thing I see for the 360 is Halo. Mostly everything else is fresh, with a few exceptions that will help sales, but not enough to give it a good portion of marketshare.

Based on the sales of Wii Sports and Wii Play, I have no doubt that Wii Fit will move some systems, perhaps not enough to make a significant difference, but it should sell well. Nintendo has a lot of things going for them right now, and if they keep up with the cheap cash-in games that are guaranteed to lure people in, I don't think sales will stop anytime soon.

This is, of course, entirely a prediction and most likely very opinionated.

Wow all assumptions from people i have played AC,WiiSports,Pikmin,MP,WarioWare,DonkeyKong,Luigi'sMansion. Pikmin=Pokemon as in you collect fight and grow.

If your talking new IP's Rol then Sony has Warhawk,GodOfWar,LittleBigPlanet,Motorstorm,Resistance, HeavenlySword,LAIR,Killzone,InFamous,EightDays,HeavyRain,Uncharted,Folklore and all of them except GodOfWar are this year and next.

Nintendo has proven that even if they arent supported, they can support themselves. Add that to the fact everyone is jumping on the Wii bandwagon (and at the same time leaping for the lives fromt he PS3's) then how can the PS3 outsell Wii?


MS needs the 3rd partys to stay in the game.Sony and Nintendo doesnt need them they both have very good 1st party support.I didnt say released i am saying announced and PS3 has 2 of the biggest franchise ever FF and MGS plus the 5th biggest(i think) 1st party title GT.

Have you seen Sony's 1st party lineup this year its massive and next years is big too.
