I honestly am not all that excited for lost planet franchise.Something about shooting a bug doesn't apeal to me.

I'd imagine they'd be having second thoughts after seeing Street Fighter IV and RE5's performance on PS3.

I ve said before ,they should make this exclusive to X360 and make onimusha 5 or DMC 5 exclusive to PS3.

Indeedy, Japanese devs are under the impression that games in NA and EU do not sell well on the PS3. 99% of the time PS3 multi-plat games do not sell as well as the 360 versions but the numbers EASILY warrant a PS3 release.

Capcom are the multi-plat kings this generation and I see no reason for that changing any time soon. *Looks at SE* -_-

Look at RE5, the game is nothing but a shooter now yet it has sold very nicely on the PS3. PS3 owners luuuurve shooters as do 360 owners, as I said multi-plat is the way to go. I want exclusive games which push a system, sure as hell know Capcom will not push a system. Leave that for first and second party devs, 3rd parties need to go multi-plat so everyone can enjoy the games.

It'll definately be on the PS3, maybe 6 months later. Personally, I didn't really care for the first so I'm not interested either way.

SFIV and RE5 both selling more on PS3 mean it will be stupid decision for Capcom to make LP2 exclusive. Anyway i don't think many people will care.

It'll be on PS3 eventually, but only Xbox will benefit from its release.

Exclusivity of Lost planet 2 is likely to be timed exclusive if MS have moneyhatted the game. Moneyhat is usually more money to developer than missing out on some extra game sales.  No momneyhat the game will be multi-platform and released at the same time - extra game sales maybe sell better on PS3 Capcom games sell better on PS3 and break the XBox 360 dominance in regards to most other games sales.

SFIV and RE5 have so far have sold a few thousand extra units is not much more. I woul say it is a tie between X360 and PS3 in regards to sales of those two games. The sales of RE5 can well and truly favour X360 - only two days of RE5 sales have be recorded for Europe and NA.

Recently X360 has better  had attach rates regarding new game sales to new console sales.
