your original link says "halo now has 1m consoles out" or something to that degree, it actually doesn't say sold. So don't start getting all pissy. I already said that it's most likely 1m by today.

Look at VGC news on the frontpage. Says Halo wars has shipped 1m copies WW. "DUDE!!!!"

Alot of people bought this game thinking its a first person shooter xD, i saw alot of refunds its funny.

I imagine VGC says its "shipped" because in either case it would be true or because it would undermine their software predictions for the title, because they'd have lowballed it by 140K.

i'm sure microsoft is somewhat disappointed with sales, because it's Halo afterall. and also, stores have a lot of stocks of this game on the first week, which means that they expected a higher sell.

One million copies of Halo Wars have been shipped.
In two weeks Halo Wars would of sold one million copies. Pretty good for its first month and on its way to 2 million sales ltd.

Will people ever get tired of making this excuse?  If people really thought it was a shooter it would have done over 2 million already. 

There are always people who return games soon after release, and Halo Wars will be no exception, but it won't deviate too much form the norm.
