yeah...about that. the DS doesn't have bluetooth either..And I guess you can get away with saying that the "no umd" is copying nintendo but I guess it would also be copying the Game Boy and Game Gear since neither one of those supported UMD's either.

Touch Screen is the only real thing that's being copied...which may or may not be good.

Can you say, PSP mobile?

Makes no sense. They're releasing big games like LBP, Uncharted, Motorstorm, and Resistance on the PSP soon. There's no way they'd make the new system incompatible with UMD, the format they'll be released on.

Unless they also make all of their big games PSN downloads, which I doubt.

They could release a umd reader that allows you to put your UMD games onto a memory stick. Or let people use their umd-enabled PSPs to do the same thing. Shedding the UMD drive makes sense for future PSP revisions.
