Yea RE5 pretty much brought closure to the series. So where they go next is fine but I don't think I want something new. I like what I have. I just want more Leon haha.

But I think they have to change it simply because the original creator is like gone haha. Without Shinji Mikami its hard to really keep it on track which is why RE5 felt a little wonky with the story. But I hope they still stay with the roots because I really like Leon.

As long as there's tons of Violence involved... I will have fun.

RE4 already killed the series, no news here.

well if you finish RE5 it finish up the story. I think at least they could have talk about all the characters in the series or had them fight next to you along with sheva.

Well first it was MGS now RE. It had to end sometime. I'm glad.

So, Capcom's thought process was something like this:

1)Completely redesign the few series characters who return in RE 5
2)Shit all over cohesion and continuity in the story
3)Abandon classic series' gameplay
4)Announce that this is all only the beginning, that they're dropping everything from act 1
5)????
6)It's still Resident Evil!!
