I disagree.
1) psp has a great back catalog, and had more 75+ rated games than the DS until mid-2008.
2) while the immediate future looks bright, I seriously doubt sony will stick with trying to keep the psp alive. I think they are quite busy with the ps3.
3) sony will most likely want to get the drop on nintendo, just like they originally intended with the psp-1000, so they will release the psp two years from now, I think.
4) I think the psp will make it to 80 million max. It just won't have enough steam.
5) Depending on the economy in america, that might also have an effect.



And that's the only thing I need is *this*. I don't need this or this. Just this PS4... And this gaming PC. - The PS4 and the Gaming PC and that's all I need... And this Xbox 360. - The PS4, the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360, and that's all I need... And these PS3's. - The PS4, and these PS3's, and the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360... And this Nintendo DS. - The PS4, this Xbox 360, and the Gaming PC, and the PS3's, and that's all *I* need. And that's *all* I need too. I don't need one other thing, not one... PSP isn't under tracked, global shipments were 50m through January. They overshipped in the Dec 2008 quarter.

PS2 isn't at 150m either. Even if you add production shipments to unit sales to retailers (shipments) PS2 is only at 140m, and through December unit sales to retail were only 137m per Sony's announcements.

All it would have to do is outsell the Gameboy Advance, without Pokemon or Nintendo's incredible brand recognition with handhelds.

i dont see too many problems with this but i still wouldnt put it at 100Million. Thats a bit too high but i could see 75 million or so. Anyways well done sony those are very respectable number especially when one considers how much of the market the DS has

Selling 100 Million Psps? I don know about that too much...yet it's possible here in NYC I see alot of Psp's usually people foolish and idiotic enough to buy it just to play Mp3 music? weird they couldve just got an Ipod lol...anyways alot of people in Nyc have one especially on the subways so I think it can hit 75 Million the most
