Motorstorm doesn't really interest me, but I would totally buy Motosperm. 
Just one thing that should be considered for 360, M$ have Mistwalker exclusivity for home consoles, that is much more important than it looks, Sakaguchi is with Ms now. FF series has just fallen since he leaved S-E, maybe Versus can make the series come back to the golden time because of the mind of Nomura behind it. Who played Lost Odyssey can say, it's much more FF-like than FFXII itself.

Ratchet and Clank is definitely worth mentioning, with 5 console game, one on the PS3, one downloadable game on the PS3, and another one supposedly coming in the fall, not to mention the two PSP games. I'm insulted that you don't think that it's worth mentioning, especially looking at sales for some of the previous games. R&CF hasn't sold as well as its predecessors, but R&C is definitely worth mentioning.

Yes darth, but the only reason that happened was because of launch bundling. I predicted the second iteration of Motorstorm wouldn't turn out the same way because it wasn't bundled and was proven correct.

ICO is not one of the big franchises even though it was one of my favorite games last gen.

Ratchet and Clank is borderline, I guess it could be counted as a big franchise, yes.
Anyway, the reason ICO deserves to be counted as a big franchise is because I believe their next game will sell nearly 2 million. And I would argue that ICO is a way more important franchise despite smalller sales than Motorstorm and other games because of how unique it is, it's got better reviews and it's a niche genre that makes the Sony library wider and more interesting.
