I think my brain is wired a bit differently from most people I've seen.
Normally the "smart" idea is not to expect anything so that you won't be let down, but if it does happen, then be really happy. I'd rather anticipate it and hype myself up and have fun day dreaming about it right now; I love having the sense of hope floating around. If it happens, great! It'll make it all the more exciting. If it doesn't happen, oh well. :P
@noname: I count 24 titles so far that actually made it to the USA. 26 if you count the NPC titles released last week, but I dont.
Not that I'm saying it's too little, but you inflated it much more than it needed to be. Japanese gamers have seen 31 titles so far, 36 if you count NPC.
Maybe we should blame NoA rather than Nintendo themselves for this huge unnecessary drought. There's games that have yet to see a release here, but never will.

I was about to drily point out that I did just that today, until I realized that that was the "Nintendo fans" thread instead of this one.

Are these games really that lofty? I figure these kinda of announcments would be expected from a major developer.
