@noname: I count 24 titles so far that actually made it to the USA. 26 if you count the NPC titles released last week, but I dont.
Not that I'm saying it's too little, but you inflated it much more than it needed to be. Japanese gamers have seen 31 titles so far, 36 if you count NPC.
Maybe we should blame NoA rather than Nintendo themselves for this huge unnecessary drought. There's games that have yet to see a release here, but never will.
