Fine, best 5 console RPGs, although you mentioned 2 MMOs, an MMO expansion, a very good but not great WRPG, and three other games which nobody's heard of, so they wouldn't make the list anyway.

Seems they pretty much followed meta rankings to the letter except for the exclusion of Oblivion.

For me personally, I count Persona 4 because I think of generations as spans of time and not really dependent on which consoles the games come out for.

All of the games in that top 5 are 85+ on Meta. And in fact, the top three are all over 90.

Star Ocean IV, for comparison, has 79. Oblivion didn't make the list, with 93.

well it could be worse you now 79 is still good maybe not as great as oblivion but still. i was just surprised because a lot of the users from VGC that bought the game said that its a great game and no one mentioned thats all.
