Forums - Nintendo - Strange Nintendo Teaser

It legacy began more than 10 years ago
It could mean so many franchises
But i like the surprises
I hope a Pokemon, Starfox, F-Zero or Kid Icarus on Wii, but the last one has a legacy of about 20 years, so they would said 20 instead 10, so i doubt it

Killer Instinct?

Red and black were a major color scheme in that game. (If I remember correctly)

Killer Instinct is owned by Rare, who is owned by Microsoft.

Didn't Pokemon begin in 1998? That would make just "over 10 years ago" and I am damn sure it is a "Legacy".

Give the man a medal, 'cause I think he nailed it. Although I doubt it's anything but Platinum. They're certainly not going to cut their own franchise short by announcing a new game before releasing this one.

Read my last post. I think I nailed it for sure this time.

Nah, I don't see Nintendo seriously pushing a VC release, especially this far in advance. Plus, they've missed their chances with Brawl's release (and its anniversary), each of which would have made more sense.

I'm sticking with Platinum.

They didn't miss the anniversary. Smash Bros released in the US on April 26th, 1999.

Like I said before, Japan recieved the game for it's 10th anniversary, on Jan 20th, 2009. It would make sense that Nintendo would do the same for the US, and considering the first release date was Jan 21st, 1999 it would fall into the "Began over 10 years ago" category.

Although as I also said before, Nintendo has never announced new games via email, so you are probably right that it is just Pokemon Platinum.
