If SONY drop Ps3 price then Ps3 will outsell 360 throughout holidays in EU (not just UK) regardless of HALO

I think actual UE PS3 data is undertracked in the charts .Its well know the Starter Pack has managed a 60% increase in sales consolidated for the console since the prior situation .The PS3 must be selling after that some 38-40K units per week here .The X360 price drop and Bioshock may help it for some time but the X360 data was something overestimated prior to that .One of the changes made to the hardware numbers have suddendly doubled the 360 sales for my country for no apparent reason (and before the price drop ) when if one thing has been absolute stable about the 360 here has been its 900-1000 units of weekly sales since launch .

We can look and make charts and hypothesize all we want around the data here but the truth is that both Wii and PS3 are far outselling the 360 in continental Europe .David Reeves may have exxagerated a bit when he said they were outselling the 360 3 to 1 but not to the point of actually selling less than it .Uk numbers may make up a bit the thing ,but not to that point .

Diomeded1976. Last week the Xbox 360 outsold the Playstation 3 in the Europe/Others region. It happened, the numbers say it did. Get over it, move on!

The people who are interested in singstar and want to buy a console for it, will buy PS2 instead of PS3. So i don't think that singstar have effect on PS3 sales. And the PS2 Singstar does have country specific editions, which means that PS3 Singstar don't have benefit over the PS2 ones.

The 360 sales propably declines until Halo 3 release, then goes up, starts to decline again until december and after christmas it nearly stops selling for a couple of months. I would believe that PS3 sales are pretty much even with 360 sales for the rest of the year.
I don't think games like Mass Effect, Eternal Sonata or Blue Dragon have big effect on 360 sales, since people expect more games like Bioshock, Gears of War and Halo 3. Of course there are the certain group of people who like Blue Dragon etc. but it's smaller than the group who likes shooters, but this group usually plays with PC, so it's interesting to see that how much effect will it have.

Yea the Wii will pass the 360 I agree on that. But I will have to commit sucide and crawl in the street butt naked for that to happen.
