Forums - Gaming - Resident Evil 5: PS3 vs. X360 frame rate

The nitpicky people are often the people that own both systems but only have to buy one version of the game. In the end of the day, if RE5 is better by even 10 frames on the 360, chances are it'll sell hundreds of thousands more. Multi-plat owners don't need to buy two :/

I have the game and finished it and didn't notice any framerate issues, though I thought the demo was fine framerate wise too. On a side note, this game looks better than MGS4, you guys are in a real treat when you see some of the levels in this game.

I think MGS4 set the standard.  If this looks better, that would be amazing.  Did you play the Japanese version?

Thanks for the input, Jeff.

I played the Asian version and yeah the graphics are very, very nice.

I'm sorry if I offended you.  It wasn't my intention.  I played the demo about 10 times.  The first couple of times I hated it, but once I got comfortable with the controls and how the gameplay worked, I started to really enjoy it.  The graphics were very good in the demo.  Some of the best character models I have seen.

That's it, I'm selling my ps3.

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

Xbox One: What are you doing Dave?

Any else notice that 15 secs into the comparison video. In the 360 version they decide to stay in the corner where theres nothing happening while in the PS3 version they move Chris towards the gate with all the zombies present .

Theres bound be a frame rate drop whenever you do that.

Finally in the 360 version they move towards the gate after killing all the zombies ensuring that it doesnt happen on the 360.

Very smart thinking from the Xbots.

TBQH, it seems you are nitpicking here just as bad as DF did. The frame rate on the 360 version never drops below 30fps regardless of what happens on screen.

The PS3 version dips down to 22fps a few times and fluctuates throughout the entire video.
