Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Medal of Honor Heroes for the Wii. Anyone else looking forward?

I'd buy it except for one thing..... FRIEND CODES. Why is it that I can use my Wii to watch porn, youtube (and everything that goes with it), and read about real life violence and death on the Wii News Channel? If I want to play a friend online in F'n Super Mario Strikers, it's damn near IMPOSSIBLE. If Nintendo doesn't do away with Wii numbers/friend codes, I won't ever use the online service.

d21, no friends codes for EA games. They use their own network.

The rEVOLution is not being televised

Ya I don't think EA will go the way of Friends Codes. And I like Chuckd's gun setup. I think someone should listen to our pleas. It would make games like Metroid and Medal of Honor a lot more fun. Also I hope you can pistol whip people in Medal of Honor. I would consider that a humiliation kill.

Even then...friend codes aren't that bad...it literally took me as long to type in someone's name as it did to type the 16 digit code...like 10 seconds or so.

And you just need to do that once...

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

i like the way u think, always fun pistol whipping sum1 and actually managing to kill them in the game...

wii friend code: 3164-3458-9149-5470

PSN ID: youjiro87

360 Gamertag: PM me to find out!

EA is a mediocre video game company, who has made a ton of medal of honor games... i have no interest in this game whatsoever, why play this game online when you can play warhawk, or gears of war, or halo 3, or smash bros.

I just read this and was about to post. Finally 3rd parties will prove FPS is best on Wii/PC. F dual analog sticks!!!

I was a little surprised. It seems like EA is putting effort into some games, and letting the brand name/appeal carry sales of others. They ARE the #1 third party publisher for a reason.

I have a neutral stance with them, especially since I don't think I own a single EA game.

Here are my thoughts on EA. In general, they make sloppy, marketing-driven, cash-in software. However, when you have God-only-knows-how-many dev teams under your umbrella, some genuinely fun products can't help but slip through the network of mediocrity. Though they tend to still be a little sloppy.

 Some EA titles I've enjoyed:

 Battlefield 1942

Godfather

Battle for Middle-Earth
