We are 3 months to the dot away from the Wii's most anticipated shooting game. I can't see how the hype will hurt the game (unless it is bad of course). However, the feedback on the game so far has been positive.

 

The only way it won't beat Call of Duty: World at War saleswise,is if it isn't marketed in a similar manner, which was fairly substantial.

Thats what sells a game, i remember when COD was released it sold really low but when activsion made thoes tv ads it now it started to sell. no marketing, no sales IMO.

I think Sega will do a fine job of marketing this. I'm expecting 1-2 million sold.

IT certainly has a strong possibility unless... Ubisoft surprises everyone with an earlier than expect launch of Red Steel 2 with WM+ which could siphon away sales.

Call Of Duty is the biggest FPS franchise that there is. I am skeptical about the Conduit outselling it. I really am.

WaW was also a game that spanned multiple platforms and sold less on the Wii than the others. The conduit is an exclusive.  The conduit also looks to be a better game compared to the Wii version of WaW. So if we gone by your logic CoD3(wii version) should have sold more than Red Steel, because it is a bigger series.
