Sony is still alive and well. They are fighting a much bigger battle than Microsoft on the piracy front and holding off selling too many consoles until they are profitable. Meanwhile they are using PS3 to bring down blu-ray costs and push a format foreward. IMHO they should use the freshly integrated gaming+vaio devision to bring the battle to the operating system war that Microsoft has been winning for a long time. Healthy competition would be great for everyone! (Except Microsoft)

No one is going to make a thread named "How Nintendo defeated Sony and Microsoft"? That thread will have much more sense than the two already made. We are almost sure Nintendo is going to be in 1st position when all is done, but there is still a very small possibility that Sony takes the second place.

by this gen over the only place m$ will maintain it lead will probably be america, and probably that will give them advance worldwide.

so its pretty good considering it was double the price. if sony can keep selling ps3 for longer they may pass 360 with easy.
