Clear bias when last gen the Xbox technology-wise was superior the PS2 in every way possible. The 360 was pushed. This is such a deep rooted fanboyism that it sickens me.

Not at this point in time. If the ps4 absolutely flops next gen then maybe. But Sony are a hardware company they should do what they do best.

They better not. I know this may sound cheesy and everything but I like Sony's style. They do things their own way (Blu-Ray, Cell etc) and just symbolize Japanese quality craftsmanship. Their hardware to me always looks the most attractive and I've never had a Sony product break on me. So if they did leave the gaming hardware market, i'd be lost. :(

Hell no. They have sold some 290 million consoles to date. They are too good at making hardware to quit because of one second/third place finish. The PS3 will sell at least 50 million when all is said and done.

I like it how people just suddenly forget we are not talking of some SEGA or ATARI here (who left.....the latter was influential....but SEGA....come on they didn't see much success anyway)....

we are talking about SONY & PLAYSTATION......a brand that has sold almost 300 Million + of hardware.

Trust me...Sony would break quicker than Nintendo. Have you tried breaking the Gamecube.

or perhaps last gen doesnt matter? Who says sony still have the best games etc etc. Why forget about the PS2 but not the xbox?
