Ps3 to win in japan confirmed?

domination in Japan? Well i suggest they look at numbers of Wii's sold in Japan and then compare it to PS3, and then just wait for wii's big games like Wii Sports Resort, Monster HUnter III, Tales of Ten etc. etc.
A week of Decent Sales (decent not great) and some dellusional fanboys start dreaming again.
They Need at least one big exclusive JRPG for may-july in Japan to dominate + a price cut
Legend Of Dragoon 2 anyone?
or a "Tales of .." perhaps?
Lol. PS3 will have its weeks, but Global Numbers Reign? thats comical.
This whole article is full of speculation. The truth, price is the bottleneck here. AAA exclusive launches are wasted as marketing devices when your console is 400 dollars.
I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.
NO NO, NO NO NO.
in japan the ps3 will get close of racing the wii and outsell after GT5 and FF13+Versus are released.
i can see ps3 easily staying ahead for a long while 2009-2010 will be great for sony with their big games hitting one after another. if needs a price cut by that time only.
but then dragon quest X, and maybe monster hunter will likely boost the wii in japan but i am not sure about monster hunter yet.
the game sold really bad on consoles, it only sold alot in psp, similar happen to fantasy star online, it sold well on the psp but DS version wasn't so big.
it only edged 360's global sales. it still needs a price cut to keep pace.
Last year we thought the PS3 would own 2008 because of the MGS4 release. Most of us were wrong. MS took over after E3 2008. This year is starting out the exact same way. Sony needs to save some hot launches for 4th quarter 2009.
