Did you make a thread saying Happy Birthday to Miyamoto?
Pixel Art can be fun.

Duh? I don't think there is anyone with any credibility who could argue otherwise.

Molyneux was 18th (Although, in my opinion, that is quite high). Fumito Ueda was 46th, which was the most prominent reason I didn't take the rest of the list seriously. |
He's made what... a total of 2 games? Longevity has to count for a lot in something like this.
I mean the Scorpions had two hits musically bit they aren't one of the best bands of all time.

It's sad that nobody has an opinion that isn't "OMG Miyamoto is the greatest ever!!1!". Other than Miyamoto, that list is garbage.

That would have been a strong argument had there not been several developers ahead of him who similarly only had 2-3 credits.
Also, your analogy is a tad flawed. ICO and Shadow of the Colossus aren't merely "hits", they are arguably the most artistic achievements in the videogame medium, and have inspired most of the development community either directly or indirectly. "Rock You Like a Hurricane" isn't their artistic equivalent, to put it simply.
And to clarify, I never stated he should top the list (Although I wouldn't object), only that he be ranked much higher.

It's not so much sad as it is just well... reasonable.
You couldn't really even mount an argument otherwise.
He's just the Michael Jordan of Developers.
Not everyone likes Michael Jordan but only an idiot would claim he wasn't the best.

Most?
Ok. Name... lets say 10 games those games have inspired.
Last i've seen he's been like someone like Suda 51. Mostly off in there own world.
Vs say the Counterstrike guys... who have influenced a lot in that Valve world of "hey lets make mods and we can get rich."
The only other person who made 2 games on the list also basically invented videogame consoles.

wow...what a surprise lol
Not a 360 fanboy, just a PS3 fanboy hater that likes putting them in their place ^.^
ICO & SOTC are some of the most overrated game ever
they are really really good
but I hope people realise some people can find them dull & boring (not me)
I liked them....just not upto the level some hyped them to be
