I only have a Ps3 and I care I don't get DLC lol.
I dont know about Fallout 3...but MS sold 1 million L&D first few weeks. So thats 20 million dollars made...in 2 weeks...they expect to sell another million by the end of 2009. 40 million made... with another episode coming.
I don't know what the split is between MS and take 2 but from the looks of things, take 2 will make money, MS will make money and gamers will get 2 long episodes that would be new games had this been PS2/Xbox/Gamecube generation.
No one can complain about DLC like GTA L&D...
The Lost and Damned is what made the 360 version of GTA4 outsell the PS3 version.
Gta 4 DLC = typical ''thread resentful'' of psn id:............
luck for the nex...

''Halo reach''.. sell 7.m first week ,Believe¡¡¡¡¡¡

Well - but doesn't Rockstar get a huge piece of that money? It's not $20 million for MS, is it? Remember that part of the reason they loaned them the cash for the DLC was to get people to buy 360 and GTA IV last summer. And it's good PR. It's not just earning money on the DLC, but any additional business drummed up through the extra P.R. the 360 gets through advertsiing the exclusive DLC.
Very few consoles are purchased for any one game - but filling the console's library with exclusive features, games, services AND quality high profile DLC is important.

I believe its 50/50 split on profits. But Rockstar has to pay back whatever MS doesnt recover from the 50 mil total...

GTA IV DLC sold close to 2 million.
Its been well worth it even if they haven't had software and hardware bumps on the physical releases/conole as the DLC has been selling extremely well and the exclusive content further differentiates live from the competition.
