Agreed. The Microsoft fanboys expected a hell of a lot more, apparently. Notice how a lot of the people who predicted 500k first week are saying that 725k is disappointing.

Never listen to fanboys on sales predictions.

sales are good for a great game! took the top spot in the UK and is still selling well although i would like to see sony give us something about the sales!

I had no expactations for its sales(I dont even remember if I made any predictions for it), so I am not either dissapointed or surprised.

725.000 is solid if you dont compare it to Halo.

Maybe they're so vocal because they feel reassured.
BTW reading MS praising Nintendo in every public statement makes me think that while fans are content at XB360 just beating PS3, MS doesn't feel at its ease and it tries to sweeten Nintendo up because it fears it could succeed next gen at what MS feared this gen but Sony failed to, partially stealing home and, almost completely, living room computing with a cheap and powerful console that doesn't need any MS SW.
It's a blessing for MS that this gen is currently won by a competitor without enough RAM for general purpose home computing, but it won't last forever, PS3 too missed the goal with too little RAM for this task, but now you can get 4GB RAM for a few tens $ or€ and by next gen launch even 8GB will be dirt cheap.
