It all depends on the people you end up being friends with I'm guessing. I would have thought that you wouldn't be pressured, but there are always some dick heads out there.

But I wouldn't rule out trying your hand at drinking, who knows, you might like it and not become an alcoholic.

some people may give you a hard time but they're probably just douche bags if they do.

It doesn't matter. Just find a group of guys who don't like drinking either and you'll have fun.

Just learn how to get girls to drink... not drunk.. thank me later for that advice.. You will know when..

Drinking is somehow related to having a social life? In what world do you live in?

Be yourself, if people don't like you, fuck them! It always amazes me how far people are willing to go just to get accepted.

Quem disse que a boca é tua?

Qual é, Dadinho...?

Dadinho é o caralho! Meu nome agora é Zé Pequeno!

It is entirely possible.

The band, probably some of the biggest drinkers on campus, had a few people that didn't drink and would still go to parties. He was generally stuck as DD but he still had a lot of fun.

As an added bonus, you get to laugh at drunken idiots.

No frats in Australia so whether you get pressured to drink revolves entirely around if your friends are alcoholics or not :P Most people drink here but you wont bet pressured to drink much beyond the odd few comments.

I go to a small design college so its not the same as the bigger universities here.

I have a car and a can bring a car my freshman year, so I think i'll do the DD thing.

All frats party, a lot. And most people who say they don't drink start drinking in college.

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

I remember in High School I thought getting drunk was the dumbest thing you could do.  I had though why the Hell would I want to go out every weekend and make myself sick!?  That's retarded.

My older brother who happen to looks exactly like me even offered to "lose" his ID for $20 so I would have a perfect fake ID but I was going to be the good little freshman and not drink so I didn't take him up on that.

About a week into being at college, before classes even started (wooo band camp), I was already begging him to "lose" the ID and he wouldn't.  Jackass.  ;_;
