Am I the only one who is entirely unimpressed with the Halo canon?

They're fun multiplayer games, but the universe, characters and story are all incredibly mediocre in my opinion.
Oh well, the Halo fans should enjoy it, so good for them.

Without giving any spoilers, you have to read 'Ghosts of the Onyx'. In my opinion the best Halo book of the 6 so far, and there is no doubt that there will be more 'story' in the Halo Universe, and an excellent opportunity to spin off more games. The halo rings may be destroyed. but there is much more story going forward as well........

I dont know why people dont realize that something(s) are in the works. Microsoft has a Halo internal studio now and one of the leads is even talking at GDC2009 in a couple of weeks (https://www.cmpevents.com/GD09/a.asp?option=G&V=3&id=635685). I think there is a good chance we will see something new.



Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.

Haha, I got a lot of hate for that.

Anyways, if you think Halo's story arc is impressive, I'd invite you to broaden your horizons.
