lol at all the speculation regarding what prerequisites were needed for Killzone 2 to break even. This is a forum. Nobody here knows. Fantastic sales for an RTS. Think the brand helped a bit seeing as reviews were harsh. Killzone 2 beat cod 4 and 5 week 1 in Eu I think. Very good.

I agree, the Halo Wars numbers are pretty damn good considering that most RTS players only play on PC...

I think it's a bit disingenuous of some folks on this thread to pretend that the very vocal pro-Sony VGChartz community has NOT super-hyped this game. I also think there are a few people who are posting in here protecting KZ2, acting like they've never bad mouthed a 360 game...also disingenuous.

Regardless that is off-topic; looks like KZ2 gave the PS3 hardware just the shot in the arm it was looking for; combined with Yakuza 3 (sp?) in Japan, this will probably mark the first time, in a long time that PS3 will not lose ground to the 360. Good news! Next step would be maintaining that momentum.

Wii sales are consistently getting lower and lower. Ps3 & Killzone 2 just outsold 360 by a small margin in the UK.

Well Sony was right about KZ2 being a platform mover...
Not sure if this is how many they had expected, I'm actually quite curious about NA sales!

I think KZ2 sales are very good. I predicted 700k WW first week. So either way I know I am most likely not over-estimating.

What I don't understand is why everyone thinks it is just going to die.

Also to make it look even better, look at when KZ2 released and when COD: W@W released.
