Well we're in the thick of this console generation and there are games popping up every week.  Depending on your cash flow (or bandwidth) you've got a decent stack of games in your library from this generation.  So my question to you is, are you beating them?  Are you making sure to finish the story, find all the hidden secrets, open all the galleries, and have all the maps in the game froever tatood on your retina?

So let us know...

And if there's a particular kind of game that you always finish (even if it means you flunk out of school, lose your job, or have to sleep on the couch).

As long as they're not too hard or crap, yes.

I -rarely- get 100% in games with a lot of collectables. I have beaten almost every single game I've ever played. The only exceptions are Banjo-Kazooie, Fable 2, and Sega Tennis on the 360. I probably won't touch much of Sega Tennis, I don't have interest in it and it just came for free, but I'll most likely get myself through the other two games. I don't like leaving games unfinished.

I voted yes because I finished all my games on the GC, many at 100%.

However, I have not this gen, partially because I have bough more games in the 2 and a bit years then I did in the 5 years previous (anyone who actually checks my game collection, I bought several GC games since I bought my Wii) I'm also a lot more busy nowadays as a result of uni and work

I still need to finish Metroid Prime 3, SM64, World of Goo, Megaman, No More Heroes, Super Paper Mario (borrowed from a friend), Eledees, get 100% on Kororinpa, 100% Zelda (I need heart pieces, bugs and poe souls), 100% Windwaker

Gotta get to it it seems

Most of the time, sometimes they're really bad games and I ignore them.

I generally do as much as I can in a game, mainly because I can't afford to buy a new game instead.

I try to finish them but sometimes I get bored with easily. I hardly ever fully complete games to 100% completion. Spending hours just to find the odd missing thing is not my idea of fun.

I tend to finish the vast majority of my games unless I mistakenly buy a poor game.

Been playing FF9 since launch and still havent finished it. On some icey mountain and last boss I fought was a ghost ship. Haven't touched it in a year or so.

Playing: InFamous, Super Robot Taisen OG Saga, Modern Warfare 2

Rarely for me. I did beat Bioshock but on Easy, so it doesn't count. I'll go back and beat it on Normal/Hard. Again Castle Crashers, but not Insane mode yet.
Guitar Hero III on Easy and Normal, but not Hard or Expert yet.

So yeah, usually I get stopped up by Work/Family/Life and before I knoe it woo new game! ... The only game I have beet this Generation (fully) is Fable II (no hard mode) and I still haven't unlocked everything in it yet.

It's sad, but I've kinda been this way my whole life.

See you all on Halo Wars!!! Day after Tommorrow!!!

(I'll get around to recently purchased Guitar Hero World Tour, I promise!)

I'm one of those who really has to complete a game. It'll bug me if I see a game on my shelf I know I can still dig into. Of course, there will be some games where I'll be content enough with just completing it instead of getting 100% (whether that be collectibles or something else).

Speaking of which, de Blob and Sonic Unleashed need to be finished... no time to waste!
