The game just needed a little more effort from Capcom.
But if this wins them money, good for them.

I still say if this does well enough, further such games will have more effort, partly because Capcom knows they can do this. This game could have turned out better, but Capcom couldn't afford to delay this game for a year or more just to try to squeeze even more out of the Wii. It's far more practical to make several games that push the system progressively ever more with each one.

I'm near the end of the game and I personally think the game has been fun, the graphics easily could of been somewhat better and so could the zombie count and if I recall correctly Capcom stated they wanted 100 zombies on screen at one time?

Pacman taught people to run around in dark rooms munching on pills while listening to repettive techno music and for that I somewhat idolise him.

If you go like that all the time you don't progress much and you will always be lagging behind. You think they improved the RE4 engine or tweaked it? A new engine would have been better, then they could have improved it with DR2. Although I understand the risk in doing this.
We will have to wait for post-MH3 for them to use that engine.

You're claiming that making games more advanced with each one is slow and doesn't progress much? Have you even paid attention to the fact that earlier games for systems are not as advanced as later ones? Did you not realize that was the point I made?

These are rhetorical questions, right? My english isn't very good.
Yes, every step forward is an improvement.

Okay, then that was just a misunderstanding.

Yes, I meant they get better with more games.

You can see this with other series. Compare Metal Gear Solid 2 with 3. Both are on the same system, but 3 came out later and looks better. Or Final Fantasy X, XI, and XII. They look more advanced with each one.

the key piss off is that they didnt bother to make the car drivable in this game.. something that would not have required too much coding- and the number of zombies is vastly reduced.. the main reason most people got this game to begin with. its a simple hack slash zombie game- a lil too lil and a lil too late on the wii I think.

5 THINGS I'd like to see before i knock out:

a. a AAA 3D sonic title

b. a nintendo developed game that has a "M rating"

c. redesgined PS controller

d. SEGA back in the console business

e. M$ out of the OS business

To be honest I didn't expec tmuch form this game as Capcom themself don't even appreciate the game, even the 360 version.

If a developer ha sno real respect for it's game why would they bother making an effort.

All their effort went into RE5. Other few random games where jsut cheap budget stuff to push some sales and pay the wages.

You can drive. They're just sectioned off from the walking. A bit silly, but there is driving.
