I mean, we can go through the list and say "Who's the hottest?" but that's not the point.

Alba could be the hottest, but I just can't see her running and gunning in a Varia Suit...same with Thurman and especially Jolie.

It doesnt matter who the actress is, because if Samus was in her "Zero Suit" then most likely the movie would turn out like crap and would star ones of those actresses just for the "hot" factor.

To be true to a Metroid Film, it would be all action and pretty much almost all computer enhanced video effects with a few scenes of the actress without the varia suit or her helmet.

My guess is it would turn out to be crap unless done true to the game.

Uh, trust me, if Metroid got a movie, there would be a lot of scenes with Samus without her suit.

Which wouldn't be all bad...they could give us storylines outside of battle. A story about her upbringing by the Chozo could potentially rock. Or a story about her fighting alongside Hunters or troopers, or I dunno, I'm not a writer.

It could work...it probably won't if it ever gets made...that's Hollywood for ya.

A little off topic but I'm surprised they never gave the Bionic Woman lead role to Katee Sackhoff, I think she would have been perfect as Jamie Sommers.

Bah, all of these are just Hollywood eye candy. NONE of them would do. You need a hard woman who's going to kick ass and take names, not some piece of hotness that destroys any credibility in the story. That's why Sigourney Weaver was so good in Alien[s].

I can't really think of any actress today that could pull that off, maybe an unknown?

Anyways, normally the casting process looks for someone who could actually play the part, and not just which boobies would press up against the suit more. You can keep all your bouncy bit babes. The best actress for Samus Aran would be Sarah Polley.
