Digimon came out in 1997.

Pokémon came out in 1995.

Digimon died off...it's time for Pokemon to do the same. It's been around WAY too long. And all they've done since 1996 is add more Pokemon to the roster

 I totally agree. I saw one show from one of the last digimon seasons and I think the humans were digivolving and the digimon companions were just liek comic relief. GAH!

Oh man I used to wake up at 6 in the morning to watch digimon, saved by the bell, and recess. Those were the days.

The games are pretty different, lately though I hear they are getting a bit similar.

The animes both were good but of course later they got worst. I think the Digimon seasons 1,2,3 were pretty good. 1 and 2 were connected stories and 3 had pretty good characters. Season 4 just ruined its' image, 5 just shouldn't be talked about.

Pokemon now shouldn't be considered a real story driven anime anymore. It is more like a cartoon now like those other long running animes Japan have like Doraemon.

Don't talk about the old days! They're gone now, and will never come back.

If they do, give me my original Nickelodeon lineup with Salute Your Shorts, All That, and Wild 'n' Crazy Kids lol
