Serious note, this is completely prejudice. Who gets offended by lesbians anyway? Only in America...

A girl got banned because she put she was a lesbian in her profile and people hassled her for it... when she reported it MS said it was offencive to other players

Sorry, but when I was in school if I used the word "lesbian" it was never in the polite sense. Like I said, and this isn't up for debate. Xbox Live is a gaming service.

I would sincerly suggest this pathetic woman join a proper dating agency and not exploit Xbox Live for her perverted sad little kicks.

I don't know if it specifically violates a TOS, I suspect it does because MS are the judge of what is and what isn't offensive according to their TOS which SHE signed up to. Don't like it? piss off then!

CHILDREN use Xbox Live and they don't need to be knowing other people's sexual orientation anyway. Most little kids don't even know what a lesbian or sex is.

 So you really think it's OK for a person straight or otherwise to be advertising their sexual orientation on Xbox Live?

Honestly here, not being silly.

 

I'm not offended by it, couldn't give a rats arse. But it's just not the place for it. There are rules everywhere in society that may not seem like a big deal.

 I agree with you there too. That is why I don't play online.

But falling back to the old "2 wrongs make a right" argument is very weak. The little kids swearing and talking crap are even worse. But they aren't the ones in the limelight here, the people who are on the block are microsoft and this woman. Of the 2, microsoft is just enacting it's TOS. The woman is "going to the tabloids" with her story.

Your profile on Xbox Live isn't for showing off sexual orientation.

1. I believe that lesbian is not an offencive term and if you think it is that you sir live in the 17th century. Televition station like MTV have no problem showing homosexuals and a lot of "CHILDREN" watch MTV
